Language Lab

In order to enhance the basic skills of english language we have here in SSCET an English language and Communication skills laboratory which has been carefully designed to enhance the basic skills of the language i.e., LSRW(Listening Speaking Reading and Writing) it caters to the need of this competetive world where communication skills is an essential factor deciding the future of a professional. we have a wide range of CD's, Cassettes and Books. The language lab has a special software installed by the K-VAN software solutions, which is a complete package in itself.

Seminars and Guest Lectures

The Institution has organized Guest Seminars by well experienced people for the develpoment of the students technical and communication skills in the current technology, so as to make students compitetive in the rapid growing technology.

Cultural Activities

A part from the education, for the personality development of the student he has to take part in cultural activities also.
Our Institute encourages the students in this aspect and even conduct competitions in cultural activities like singing and dancing.
Institution conducts competitions in singing and dancing in a regular intervals i.e., for Independence Day and Republic Day.
Recently, a cultural eve is conducted in the college as a part of Independence Day celebrations.

Anti Ragging Committee

Having taken admission in a professional college the first thing that bothers a new student is "Ragging". We find this act quite in practice in various institutions even when it is strictly prohibited by the Govt. and the University.

Here in St.Stanley College we have an "Anti Ragging Committee" whose chairman is

The committee members impress the students that the ragging is totally banned in the college and any attempt of ragging which includes questioning, enquiring, harassing, commenting, the new entrance
constitute a major offence which attract not only dismissal but also imprisonment. The committee ensures that no ragging is taking place inside and outside the campus.

NSS Unit

It is said that the hands that serve are holier than the hands that pray. To serve others is greater than being served by others and we all know that service to humanity is service to divinity. In order to inculcate the service motive among the students we have in our college the NSS unit.
The incharge of this unit is Mr.T.Giri Babu, Asst.Prof in EEE dept.

Student Counsellors

In our institution we conduct an activity called student counselling activity. For this we have dedicated one faculty member as a counsellor for every 20 students. This faculty conductes counselling for each and every student once a week and enquiries about his or her problem. we make the students feel free to express themself and come out with their problems.we have found a good progress in this path.

Class Teacher

In our institution each and every class is taken care by the class teacher.Class teacher plays a major role in the class. Attendance finalization for every month is done for an individual student, and also concentrate on the academics of the class students. Students cannot leave the college campus with out the permission of the class teacher there by creating some ensureness on the student to the parents. Every month the internal marks list is forward to the parents so that parents can know the performance of their child in the studies. To say in few words class teacher take care of the student completely with in the campus.

Discipline Committee

Discipline is the prime component for building the personality of the students. The "Discipline Committee" in the Institution takes all measures for maintaining discipline on the part of students at every level. They even go around the Institution during working hours for ensuring that all thestudents attens the classes regurlarly.

The committee also entertain representations from the affected students even if the conduct of the complained relate to outside also.
