Further Studies

North Umbria University

An MOU &MOA is existing between TRR Group of Institution and North Umbria University. The MOU & MOA are signed by Dr.M.Prabhakar, Principal, St.Stanley College of Engg. and Tech. on behalf of TRR
Group & Institutions on 5th May 2005 with the approval of Dr.T.Ram Mohan Reddy, Chairman, TRR Group of Institutions, at North Umbria University, New castle(UK).

In connection to the agreement, as a follow up action Mr.Gerry Hayden, Director of International affairs, NU(UK), visited TRR College of Engineering on 19th October 2005.

On the day counseling and interactive sessions with students and staff of TRR College of Engineering, Jyothi Engineering College and St.Stanley College of Engineering and technology were planned and organized meticulously.

Industry association

The group has strong links with prominent industrial houses which generate valuable synergy between academics and industry. The institute organises industrial visits, project works and Industry Academic Meets. These activities foster association which pave the way for potential employment.

Career & Placments

Placements is a specialised matter delt by Placement Officer, who is well versed with carporates and their recruitment policies. Student counseling on career & placements and further studies start from the end of third year.

Seminar Committee

Trends in present day technology are rapidly growing and students need to get updated with the current growing technology. And also thej student has to increase his communication skills by presenting himself before a huge crowd. For this the Insitute has made a committee namely "Seminar
Committee" where the organise Guest Lectures by intellectuals and Seminars by teh students of the Insitute about teh current trends.
The committee is planning for conduting a State Level Seminar/Conference for students of all three branches during this year.

ieg, JKC

Institute for e-Governance is created by Information Technology And Comunications Department (IT&C), Government of Andhra Pradesh to promot the Institute --Industry--Government interaction, where by
the institution can produce readily employable graduates.

Its initiative Jawahar Knowledge Center (JKC) is aimed to fulfill its objectives of producing skilled human resources; oppurtunity to 1066 engineers in its first year through its female Students Campus Placement Mission(FSCPM).

CAMPUS PLACEMENT MISSION(CPM) is launched to help out the professional students by training them in desired skils fro campus placementgetting teh companies for campus placement, which also enables the entry of students into JKCs.

CAMPUS PLACEMENT RELATED SKILLS(CPRS) TRAINING
100 hours training over 4 spells which covers Aptitude, Personality Development, and Technical Sessions.

CCAC

Our institution conducts CCAC(co-curricular activity club) in the campus. Many events are conducted under the CCAC for the welfare of the students. Every wednessday 1 hrs is alloted for the CCAC for which the students and faculty of all the branches are invited to assemble in the main hall to participate in the extracurricular activites held there. Guest lectures are also held in this hour by the eminent professors to make the students know about the present trend in the IT field.

Communication is what, which we need in the society. To improve the communication skills of the students institution has planed to organize class based on communication skills by Mrs.RAJINI and itwas a grand success. This stood as the highlite in the activities of the CCAC

ISTE Student Chapter

ISTE is a national,Professional, Non-profit making society registered under the Societies Registration act of 1860. Association of Principal's of Technical Institutions (APTI) was transformed in to "Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE)" in 1968.

Conducting Information Technology Programs.
Organizing Seminars, Workshops and Conferences on Emerging topics of relevance to Technical Education.

Achievement

First Batch Students of our Institution has won 2nd prize in National Level ISTE Student Chapter Paper Presentation held in Punjab in November 2005.

The students who won the prize are A.Chandra Sekhar and G.Abhilash Patnaik of 3rd year ComputerScience Engineering.
